Our Story
Where Animal Behavior Meets Pet Care
Brixton Animal Collective was founded on a simple belief: understanding why animals behave the way they do makes us better pet parents. We bring science-backed behavior knowledge to every walk, visit, and consultation.
Meet Toni Arrowsmith, UW-AAB
Founder & Animal Behavior Consultant
Toni Arrowsmith is a certified animal behavior consultant and lifelong animal advocate based in North Seattle. After years of working with rescue organizations and observing the gap between traditional pet care and science-backed care, she founded Brixton Animal Collective (formerly Wags and Whiskers Pet Care) in 2018.
Toni holds a certification in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington (UW-AAB, 2023) and is committed to ongoing education in the field. Her approach is rooted in positive reinforcement, Fear-Free handling, and a deep respect for each animal's individual personality and history.
Whether she's helping a reactive dog build confidence on a walk or supporting a senior cat through a medical routine, Toni brings the same calm, science-backed presence to every interaction.
